What is your place of birth/where are you from? Where all have you lived?

SI was born in Fort Carson, CO, but have lived in Louisiana my whole life (ages 2-25). My family moved to Arkansas because my husband got military orders to be stationed here.

Where did you attend school (high school/college/grad school)?

St. Mary’s Catholic School in Natchitoches, LA

Northwester State University in Natchitoches, LA

What do you enjoy doing when you are not at work?

I enjoy playing with my toddler son, Sam. I also enjoy going on trips to new places, reading, and cooking new recipes for my family.

Do you have a favorite Bible verse, passage, or story? If so, what is it?

My favorite Bible story is of Sarah, my namesake.Sarah laughing is the most relatable thing to me - Laughing at the impossibility and then laughing in amazement at what God can and will do for us. I have laughed like that many times. My favorite verse is “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” - Romans 15:13

What is a fun fact about you that most people may not know?

I once was a school photographer.

Do you follow sports? If so, what are your favorite sports/teams?

LSU, Baby!

What is your favorite place you have visited? If you could visit anywhere in the world, where would you go? What would you do there? Who would you go with?

My favorite place is Grande Isle, Louisiana. If I could go anywhere, I would go to Japan. I would immerse myself in the culture for a year, and if no one wanted to come with me, I would go by myself!

If you were given the opportunity to share a meal with any one person - past or present, with whom would you dine?

It may be cliche, but I would like to dine once with Jesus. I have some questions.

If you had to choose your last meal, what would it be?

My last meal choice would be crab beignets with aioli, crawfish bread and some pepperjack boudin balls from Scott, LA, along with a Coke, and Tiramisu for dessert!
