What is your place of birth/where are you from? Where all have you lived?

I was born in Harrison, Arkansas. I have also lived in Russellville, Warren, Springdale, Fort Smith (I also taught school at Mt. Judea and Lead Hill while living in Harrison.).

Where did you attend school (high school/college/grad school)?

What do you enjoy doing when you are not at work?

I love to hike, kayak and canoe. I like to read and go to high school football games.

Do you have a favorite Bible verse, passage, or story? If so, what is it?

“(19) Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, (20) and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” -Matthew 28: 19-20

This scripture was, and still is, at the core of my calling to ministry as a vocation.

What is a fun fact about you that most people may not know?

My name is the combination of my Dad’s Dad’s middle name and my Mom’s Mom’s middle name (My sister’s name is a combination of my Dad’s Mom’s middle name and my Mom’s Dad’s middle name.).

Do you follow sports? If so, what are your favorite sports/teams?

My son is a high school football coach, so I follow whichever team he is coaching. I also follow the Arkansas Razorbacks!

What is your favorite place you have visited? If you could visit anywhere in the world, where would you go? What would you do there? Who would you go with?

I went to England for a Wesley pilgrimage. We toured the country viewing all the important places in the lives of John and Charles Wesley and worshiped daily along the way. It was a wonderful experience.

If you could visit anywhere in the world, where would you go? What would you do there? Who would you go with?

I would love to go to the Holy Land with my family to see all the most holy places. I would also love to visit Ireland and Europe.

If you were given the opportunity to share a meal with any one person - past or present, who would you dine with?

My grandparents -- I can’t pick just one of them!

If you had to choose your last meal, what would it be?

Pizza!
