Hours: Must be available during weekday afternoons (from 1:45pm to 5 (ish)pm)

Description:
Our non-profit organization is seeking staff that enjoys children and can work in a team environment. Staff is responsible for leading, planning and assisting with a wide variety of group activities, engaging with the children, homework support and the overall care and supervision of children. Our program serves over 120+ families with student in grades K-5 at Lakewood Elementary and 6th and 7th grade at NLR Middle in North Little Rock. The right candidate would have the ability to engage with school age youth and build meaningful relationships with them. It is imperative that this individual would be able to understand and carry out oral and written instructions; maintain confidentiality of student related information; participate in paid training throughout the year and attend monthly staff meetings.  We are open Monday through Friday from 2:30-6:00pm. Typically, most staff arrive between 1:30-1:45 and leaves between 5:00-5:30.  Pay begins at $9.50/hour and guarantee of hours vary. (Assistant Director depends on experience.) Most staff average 15 hours weekly. We also have a carpool each day from Conway/UCA campus. Our program is closed Spring Break, Thanksgiving Break and Christmas Break. There is an option to work during summer. Fall Staff return week of August 1st.  

Must be 18 years old and Criminal Background Check and Child Maltreatment check are required.
