This is a time for children and youth to receive blessings from Lakewood UMC pastors as they prepare for the start of the upcoming school year. Backpack Blessings will take place outside under tenets located next to the LUMC Sanctuary. There will be no Sunday school for children and youth as the Backpack Blessing time will fill the regularly scheduled Sunday school hour.
