Wednesdays at Lakewood happen at different times throughout the year and we usually meet for six consecutive weeks. We offer dinner - catered or homemade - usually for a discounted price or a love offering - and education and fun programs for the whole family - children, youth, and adults.

Come To The Table. Why? The Bible is full of meals.  Regularly we see the people of God dining as God provides for their nourishment and teaches them the ways of grace at a table.  In no other place in scripture is this more true than in the Gospel of Luke, where Jesus seems to be at a meal, coming from a meal, or going to a meal.

At the table, we break down walls as we see each other as fellow humans. Differences are put aside our common humanity is displayed for all to see. At the table - sometimes an altar and sometimes a Communion table, even - we realize that we are all sinners who are in need of grace and a helping hand.

Come to the table at Lakewood UMC as we discover community, hope, mission, and salvation over a shared meal.

All are welcome at our table

Please Come to the Table by joining us for Wednesdays at Lakewood!

It won’t be the same without YOU!
